Lease Object: Electric Bicycles

Landlord: eBiKe Compostela

Ebike Compostela through the rental contract that the client accepts when formalizing the online reservation undertakes to:

  • Deliver the bicycle in perfect working order, clean, with a 100% charged battery and ready to start filming at that very moment.
  • Accompany the following accessories: Tool kit, helmet, rear light, padlock and saddlebags.
  • Provide telephone assistance service during the entire rental period at no additional cost.
  • Give the necessary instructions for the correct use of the bicycle on the road, mountain or any type of terrain.
  • Emphasize the correct use of the security lock to store the bicycle
  • Comply with the schedule and place of delivery, have flexibility in modifying and changing it if possible and with a minimum notice of 24 hours in advance.
  • When the bicycle is sent through MRW or Seur, it is delivered in a cardboard box with the front wheel disassembled. Instructions on how to assemble the wheel will be attached to each bicycle. You only have to do what is indicated in the instructions and call 699 331 965 if you have any questions so that we can tell you how to proceed.

The CLIENT who rents the bicycle must agree to comply with the conditions stipulated in this contract, which he accepts when formalizing the online reservation:

  • Use the bicycle solely and exclusively for your own use and enjoyment of it.
  • Put to good use, and keep the bicycle in good condition, without breakage or damage caused intentionally.
  • Check the condition of the bicycle at the time of delivery, in case of any damage, indicate it well in the written contract and by phone 699 331 965 to ebike Compostela. With the reason that said damage prior to use is not the responsibility of the client.
  • In the event that during the rental period the bicycle suffers intentional damage, the client will be responsible for 100% of the cost of repair or replacement of the same in case of purchase.
  • The damages suffered during the rental caused by wear, unintentional accidents, such as falls, punctures will be borne by the ebike Compostela company. If these damages prevent you from continuing with the rental, the company will replace the bicycle with another exactly the same. If this is not possible due to a lack of ebike units, ebike Compostela undertakes to return the proportional part of the missing rent.
  • Ebike Compostela offers a travel assistance service at a cost of €30 per bike, which includes puncture repair, chain repair and gear adjustment. Only available for routes within Galicia.
  • The client who has not contracted travel assistance and we have to go to provide this service will be charged 35€/hour and travel to the place of 0.65€/km.
  • The client must be responsible at all times for the bicycle, making sure that it is not lost or stolen. Since in this case it will be the customer who bears the costs of purchasing another unit.
  • Ebike Compostela provides a security lock that the customer must agree to use correctly when leaving the bike alone. This lock must be attached to a post, bar or something physical anchored to the ground to prevent the theft of the bicycle at all costs.
  • DEPOSIT: for each reservation the client must provide a deposit of 200€ that will be returned at the time of finalizing the contract.
  • When the bicycle is delivered by the client to ebike Compostela, it will be reviewed by us to be able to return the deposit in its entirety. We will only keep the deposit in case of improper use of the bicycle, damage or malicious damage, never due to wear or force majeure.
  • When you receive the bicycle through MRW or Seur you will find instructions on how to mount the front wheel. You only have to do what is indicated in the instructions and call 699 331 965 if you have any questions so that we can tell you how to proceed.

Home rental conditions

When the bicycle is delivered to the customer's home through a transport company, in addition to all the conditions mentioned in the "rental conditions" section, the following are established:

  • When the bicycle is sent through MRW or Seur, it will be delivered in a cardboard box with the front wheel removed. Instructions on how to assemble the wheel will be attached to each bicycle.

The client:

  • You only have to do what is indicated in the instructions and call 699 331 965 if you have any questions so that we can tell you how to proceed.
  • You cannot modify any other part that is not specified, being at your risk and cost in case of doing so.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations will only refund the amount of the reservation if it is notified 72 hours in advance.
  • You must call 699 331 965 and send an email to info@ebikecompostela.es
  • When they want to cancel a reservation with less than 72 hours, the full amount will be charged, it will not be refunded in any case.
  • We will offer the option of making a voucher for the amount of the reservation to spend in the future.
